Last updated: June 2026. This Privacy Policy describes how BumbleByrd Pte. Ltd. ("BumbleByrd", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal information when you use our platform. We are committed to protecting your privacy in compliance with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA).
Account Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and Singpass-verified identity. We also collect profile information you provide, including photos, bio, interests, and dating preferences.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you use BumbleByrd, including pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, and interaction patterns with other members.
Device Information: We collect device type, operating system, browser type, and IP address to ensure platform security and optimise your experience.
We use your information to: provide matchmaking services and match you with compatible singles; personalise your experience and improve our matching algorithm; communicate with you about your account, matches, and platform updates; ensure platform safety and prevent fraud; and comply with legal obligations under Singapore law.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We may share limited data with: service providers who help operate our platform (hosting, analytics); law enforcement when required by Singapore law; and other members only as part of the matching experience (your name, photos, and profile information visible to potential matches).
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, regular security audits, and strict access controls. While we cannot guarantee absolute security, we take all reasonable steps to protect your data under Singapore PDPA requirements.
Under the PDPA, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; withdraw consent for data processing; and request deletion of your account and data. Contact our Data Protection Officer at dpo@lovla.cloud for any requests.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, we retain minimal data for 30 days to handle any pending requests, then permanently delete all personal information.
